ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2015) - Cedric C. Brown has joined the fast-growing Burns & McDonnell team in Atlanta as a project manager in the transmission and distribution group. An electrical engineer, Brown brings a lengthy resume of managing successful projects for both utilities and industrial clients. Over the course of his 16-year career, Brown has earned a reputation for managing multiple projects on tight deadlines and developing positive relationships with clients, co-workers and vendors, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Brown spent the early part of his career in roles of increasing responsibility with Southern Company, working in Georgia on critical substations and other power delivery projects and with Entergy in New Orleans, where he served as a system protection and controls engineer. He also has worked for Mott MacDonald Engineering as a lead protection and control engineer and project manager.
Brown received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
