Celebrate the End of Summer at Downsview Park's FamilyFest On Labour Day Weekend, Presented in Part by Family Channel

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 18, 2007) - Parc Downsview Park Inc. (PDP) is pleased to present the biggest and best family event of the summer on Labour Day weekend in association with Family Channel. Before the start of a new school year, every teen, tween and pre-tween with their friends and family are invited to celebrate summer one last time at Downsview Park's FamilyFest on Sunday, September 2, 2007.

From noon to 8:00 p.m., Downsview Park's FamilyFest features an array of musical talent, games and rides, food vendors and exhibits. Musical entertainment includes Corbin Bleu, who stars in both the Emmy Award-winning pop culture phenomenon High School Musical and its upcoming sequel, High School Musical 2 (August 17 on Family Channel), and Drew Seeley, who co-wrote the hit "Get'cha Head in the Game" and contributed vocals to the High School Musical soundtrack, as well as Canadian actress Kate Todd who is best known for her lead role as Lily on the award winning hit television show Radio Free Roscoe, teen television and music idol Drake Bell, Juno Award Winning Canadian R&B superstar Keshia Chante and 2006 Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila.

Also appearing on stage and catering to a younger generation are other well-known children's entertainers such as Caillou, Fred Penner and Franklin the Turtle.

Tickets are $29.99 each or a family pack of four tickets for $99.99. Admission is free for children two years of age and younger.
