Celebrate Forever Foundation Promotes Individual Change as Key to Improved Relationships and Healthier Families

New Nonprofit From Bridal Industry Offers Resources and Events to Prepare Couples for a Lifetime Together

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 14, 2014) - Celebrate Forever Foundation today launched a new nonprofit organization with a mission to promote individual change as the key to improving personal relationships, healthier families and stronger communities. Designed for all people regardless of age, race, socioeconomic and religious backgrounds, Celebrate Forever offers resources and events that assist individuals through real-life, relationship-oriented communication, as well as problem-solving and conflict-resolution lessons to help prepare them for a lifetime together worth celebrating.

Celebrate Forever was founded by entrepreneurs Kevin and Gloria Lu whose personal life mission is to "Save One Family®," whereby making a difference in even one family can have a lasting effect on its members and well beyond to the community at large. They founded Casablanca Bridal® and CB Couture®, two international, rapidly growing, and award-winning bridal gown manufacturers, and the primary corporate sponsors of Celebrate Forever. Kevin and Gloria Lu also believe in the Foundation's statement, "It starts from me, change me first®," meaning that true change in relationships starts with an individual. Their personal experience and business success in the bridal industry encouraged their passion to give back by enriching relationships and families.

"We want to empower individuals and couples with skills and resources that will strengthen their relationships over a lifetime," said Kevin Lu. "With my wife Gloria, we were inspired to start Celebrate Forever by the people we met through our business and our own marriage journey."

A core part of Celebrate Forever's focus includes online relationship education courses designed to drive personal growth and foster skills that create lasting relationships. Celebrate Forever also offers do-it-yourself toolkits, online courses, books, videos, mobile content via an app, and -- coming soon -- seminars and events. Celebrate Forever's resources were developed by best-selling, award-winning authors in the field of relationship education and encourage personal development as a means to strengthen relationships.

According to the Journal of Family Psychology, couples who receive premarital education are 31 percent less likely to divorce. In addition, research indicates that 74 percent of participants in relationship education courses reported an increase in their couples-oriented problem-solving skills, thereby increasing the likelihood of staying together.

"Relationships flourish when individuals work on themselves to be a better person, friend, family member or spouse, so we set out to provide a vast repository of resources to improve their relationships, which ultimately leads to stronger communities," said Sara Peary, executive director of Celebrate Forever.
