"Celebrate France!" Pavilion Front and Center at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival

The Very Best of France's Food, Wines and "Art de Vivre" Under One Roof

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 29, 2007 -- The French Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries is proud to announce its participation in The Food Network/South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Miami from February 23rd to February 25th. Special guest Sheri Sauter Morano, Master of Wine and spokesperson for the Wines of France campaign, and participating sponsors will present an array of French gastronomic offerings and quality lifestyle products in the modern and chic 2,500 square foot "Celebrate France!" Pavilion.

The pavilion welcomes all trade, press and consumers to relax in one of two lounges and experience the French "art de vivre." "Our goal is to put the spotlight back on French products, their diversity and their excellent quality/price relationship. We are featuring French food and wines that are accessible and appealing to American consumers," commented Ms. Sauter Morano.

Sponsors in the "Celebrate France!" Pavilion include Wines of France, Bordeaux Wine Council, Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines, Mouton Cadet, Palm Bay Imports, ARC International featuring Mikasa Oenology stemware, ClubMed, Côtes du Rhône Wine Council, Champagne Mumm, the Lactalis Group, and AMI Brands with Badoit and Volvic waters. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste wines from France's most celebrated wine regions -- enhanced by Mikasa's innovative Oenology stemware line, the official stemware of the "Celebrate France!" Pavilion. Sheri Sauter Morano and Robin Kelley O'Connor will be two of several keynote speakers to guide visitors through tasting seminars: of note, Mouton Cadet's export manager, Aymar Cruse, will be hosting a seminar on Bordeaux Wine, "Bordeaux: The Art of Blending," and Club Med's corporate chef, Erik Peters, will be on hand to showcase the resort's commitment to unique and innovative cuisine with a French flair. For those with a sweet tooth, Valrhona will be present offering a selection of their delicious chocolates. Finally, to cleanse one's palate in between tastings, Pavilion visitors will enjoy Badoit and Volvic waters, and relax while admiring the scenic views.
