Celebrate the Holidays, Save and Give Back at SpringHill Suites

OCEANSIDE, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 17, 2016) -  SpringHill Suites San Diego Oceanside/Downtown prepares to ring in the holidays this November and December with a festive tree lighting ceremony, toy drive, and a special holiday offer for local area residents and family.

The hotel in Oceanside, California will be hosting its annual Tree Lighting ceremony Friday, December 2^nd, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, on the Oceanside View Deck. In partnership with Hello Betty Fish House and Toys for Tots, the event is free and open to the public. There will be a Build Your Own Taco Bar, where guests can eat free with a toy donation. Without a donation, food cost is $5 per child and $10 per adult, with all proceeds going to benefit Toys for Tots. There will also be a cash bar with holiday drink specials throughout the event.

The lighting will take place at 5:45 pm, as the hotel ignites their sparkling decorations for the holiday season. Those who can't make the Oceanside event can donate to the hotel's Toys for Tots drive, now through December 9^th. Toy donation boxes can be found in the SpringHill Suites lobby, where guests and community members can drop off toys or give monetary donations. Toys for Tots representatives will be at this year's tree lighting ceremony to help kick off the season.
