Celebrate the Holidays With Movies and Games That Make the Season

Seasonal Redbox Survey Identifies Festive Flicks and Fun, Celebrates Launch of 12 Days of Deals

OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL--(Marketwire - Nov 28, 2011) - It's beginning to feel a lot like the holidays as we curl up with classic favorites and seasonal entertainment from Redbox, America's destination for movies and games. Today, Redbox releases its Seasonal Survey* which found that 70 percent of Americans enjoy holiday fun and cheer by gathering around the television, not the tree, to kick start the season with a festive movie.

New releases might top gift lists, but Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer tops America's must-see holiday favorites list. Other fun holiday favorites available for rent at Redbox include Christmas with the Kranks, Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas (The Play) and The Littlest Angel.

When not enjoying a new or old favorite, many celebrate with holiday parties. What better way to get together than with festive and fun video games such as Go Vacation and Just Dance 3? These games can help create new traditions with laughter and togetherness where even Grandpa can show off his dance moves.

From party helper to Santa's helper, Redbox is helping shoppers get the perfect gift for everyone on their list. At $2 a night, the video game lovers on your list can try before you buy. More than 72 percent of Redbox survey respondents would prefer their gift recipients test a video game before adding it to their wish lists.
