WHITEHORSE, YUKON--(Marketwired - Sept. 3, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage
Ryan Leef, Member of Parliament (Yukon), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced support for eight Yukon-based projects through the Celebrate Canada program and the Canada Arts Presentation Fund.
Funding will support a range of activities including local celebrations for National Aboriginal Day, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day and Canada Day, as well as for local concert series and festivals.

- Eight organizations in Yukon received a combined total of $202,800 through the Department of Canadian Heritage's Celebrate Canada program and the Canada Arts Presentation Fund.
