Celebrating Maple Heritage in Sunderland

SUNDERLAND, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov. 18, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $5,200 under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support the 20^th edition of the Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival.

Barry Devolin, Member of Parliament (Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

• The 2015 Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival will take place March 28 and 29 in Sunderland, Ontario.
• The festival, now in its 20^th year, is free and accessible to the general public.
• Visitors to the festival will be able to enjoy a variety of family-oriented activities, including musical performances by local artists, historical tours and heritage demonstrations.
