Celebrating Summer in Sault Ste. Marie

Government of Canada supports the Rotary Club of Sault Ste, Marie's annual summer festival


SAULT STE. MARIE, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 30, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $8,250 to the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support the 94th edition of their annual summer festival, Rotaryfest. This year's event will take place from July 17 to 19 and will feature performances by local artists.

Bryan Hayes, Member of Parliament (Sault Ste. Marie), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

  • The festival features performances by artists and musicians from a variety of genres and styles, including country, jazz, latin, R&B, blues and rock.
  • The performances will take place in Clergue Park and Rowswell Park.
  • The Rotary Club has been present in Sault Ste. Marie since 1918.
