Government of Canada supports the Hastings Waterfront Festival


HASTINGS, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 14, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage

Rick Norlock, Member of Parliament (Northumberland-Quinte West), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced $4,000 in funding for the Hastings Waterfront Festival.
The Government of Canada has provided this funding through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support the 8th edition of this festival, which features music performances, heritage exhibits, and children's entertainment.

  • The festival will be held at the Hastings Village Marina on August 15, 16, and 17, 2014.
  • The festival includes heritage activities and musical performances by local artists, as well as an art show, a display of antique boats, and a classic car show.
