Quotes

"Through their dedication and commitment, the organizers of the Fête des chants marins make it possible for Saint-Jean-Port-Joli's residents and visitors to discover rich local heritage, as well as the arts and popular traditions associated with the Saint Lawrence River."

-The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage

"Due north! From August 17 to 21 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, we will steer in the same direction as the great explorers to the fabulous world of the Inuit; to vast, fascinating and wild spaces that have always haunted the imagination of seafarers. On the horizon is a lineup that's extensive and exciting with a northern twist. Before setting sail again, get your rigging and luggage ready, clear your decks and come in large numbers, mates, because this trip will be like the others: unforgettable!"

-Michèle Desrochers, Administrator, Fête des chants de marins
