Cellular South Delivers Holiday Cheer to Northeast Mississippi

Cellular South to Collect Toys at NE Miss. Locations for Cellular South Craig's Kids Program

TUPELO, MS--(Marketwire - November 28, 2007) - Cellular South has joined forces with Sunny93 FM and the Salvation Army for the second year in a row to make the season a little brighter for some deserving children in Northeast Mississippi. This holiday, children will receive new toys donated through the Cellular South Craig's Kids program. All donations will be delivered to The Salvation Army and distributed to Angel Tree recipients in the area.

"With many families struggling to make ends meet, the holidays can be difficult times, especially for those who are unable to afford gifts," said Noel Coward, Cellular South retail operations manager. "As a dedicated community partner, we understand the need to give back to the communities we serve and make this a special holiday for Northeast Mississippi children who would otherwise go without this season."

Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be made at any Cellular South location in Northeast Mississippi through December 15th. To help support this great holiday initiative, Sunny 93 radio personality Craig Horton will conduct live broadcasts at Cellular South locations throughout Northeast Mississippi to spread some cheer and encourage holiday giving. Through his participation, Horton has become the face, voice and namesake of the Cellular South Craig's Kids program.

Live broadcasts are from 11:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m. at the following Cellular South locations on the following dates:

Nov. 29 Pontotoc at 224 Hwy. 15 North
      30 Tupelo at 3930 N. Gloster
Dec. 6 Corinth at 2300 S. Harper Road
7 New Albany at 336 Park Plaza Drive
11 Ripley inside E.W. James Grocery
      13 Houston inside Wal-Mart
14 Barnes Crossing Mall in Tupelo

"It's our goal to deliver toys to as many children as possible this season," said Major John Roy Jones, Divisional Commander of The Salvation Army's Alabama-Louisiana-Mississippi Divisional Headquarters. "With help from Cellular South and dedicated Northeast Mississippi residents, I know we can reach that goal and make this toy drive a success." Additionally, Memphis area stores are collecting bikes for the annual Cellular South Mike's Bikes program. Both programs support the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program. Cellular South is accepting toy donations at all retail store locations in Northeast Mississippi. For store hours and locations, visit
