Cellular South Gives Local Memphis Kids Chance to Meet Biggest Superstars in Tennis

Kids' Day Marks the Beginning of the Star-Studded 2007 Cellular South Cup

MEMPHIS, TN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 16, 2007 -- Cellular South, the nation's largest privately held wireless provider, is giving local children the chance to meet some of the greatest names in tennis. Kids' Day will kick off the Cellular South Cup this Sunday, Feb. 18, and will put Memphis kids on the court for tennis tips from superstars.

The 2007 Cellular South Cup is a week-long event that will take place from Feb. 16 to Feb. 25, featuring many of the world's top women's players, such as Venus Williams (USA) and defending champion Sofia Arvidsson (SWE).

Sunday, February 18
--  Kids' Day - Young fans will take the courts with ATP and WTA
    professionals who will serve up tennis tips, contests, geography
    lessons and a question-and-answer session. Admission is free for
    children ages 15 and under with the purchase of an adult ticket.
    Ticket holders will also gain admission to qualifying first-round
    matches on Sunday.

Monday, February 19
--  Women's first round matches
      -  100 kids from the Tennis Memphis program will be present as
         Venus Williams takes the court for the first time at the
         Cellular South Cup

Tuesday, February 20
--  Women's first and second round matches
--  Tennis Clinic administered to kids from the Tennis Memphis program
    by leading female Cellular South Cup players at the Whitehaven Tennis
    Complex in Memphis

Wednesday, February 21 - Friday, February 23
--  Women's second round, quarterfinal and semifinals continue
--  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - Some of the top women's
    players in the world will visit children at St. Jude's
--  National Civil Rights Museum - 2007 Cellular South Cup participants
    will have a chance to tour this historic place during a special event

Saturday, February 24
--  Women's Final (7:00 p.m.)
      -  Cellular South Check Presentation - Cellular South will recognize
         the champion of the 2007 Cellular South Cup
