CEMATRIX Corporation Announces Appointment of Director and Grant of Stock Options

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 2, 2006) - CEMATRIX Corporation (TSX VENTURE:CVX) (the "Corporation") is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Radler ("Mr. Radler") to the board of directors of the Corporation (the "Board"), subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Radler, a Professional Engineer, brings with him over twenty years of experience in the construction and construction material industry. The Board will now consist of Jeffrey Kendrick, Kirby Cox, David Madsen, Chris Gagnon, Melinda Park and Andy Radler.

The Corporation is further pleased to announce the grant of 150,000 stock options to Mr. Radler. The stock options permit Mr. Radler to purchase common shares of the Corporation at an exercise price of $0.30 per common share for a period of five (5) years from the date of issuance. From the date of grant, one third (1/3) of the stock options vest immediately, one third (1/3) vest in six months and the final one third (1/3) vest in 12 months.

The Corporation is situated in Calgary, Alberta and, through its wholly owned subsidiary, is a manufacturer and supplier of technologically advanced cellular concrete products with applications in a variety of markets, currently focusing on the oil and gas construction and infrastructure construction markets. Cellular concrete has been utilized as a replacement for rigid and other insulating materials in frost-susceptible or permafrost conditions. Cellular concrete is also used in void filling situations and as a replacement for granular fills and weak or unstable soils.
