Cenit Corporation: New Software License Sales, Corporate Update

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 17, 2007) - Cenit Corporation ("Cenit") (TSX VENTURE:CNT) (PINK SHEETS:CNTGF) announces that its software development division has completed development of the newest version of its acentrix™ rapid query software application and sold two additional software licenses to long term client; Rogers Cable Inc. ("Rogers").

First developed and licensed to Rogers during 2000 - 2002, acentrix™ is a fast, user-friendly data analysis tool that will now interface with Rogers Global and Telecom data marts and allow users to access customer records across multiple business divisions. This represents a significant increase in both the scope and use of acentrix™ at Rogers.

New business initiatives are currently focused on a number of large companies that feature large customer data bases with dynamic information management requirements.

Cenit also announced that growth at its recruiting services division is strong as economic and demographic factors continue to provide the fundamentals for stable and growing income from recruiting clients. Clients include some of the largest Canadian consulting engineering firms and this division is increasingly providing the necessary funding for software development and other corporate initiatives.

As indicated in the News Release dated September 28, 2007 improved results at Cenit are attributable to strong growth at its recruiting services division and continued development work and new licenses with lead client; Rogers Cable. Management's focus on reducing overhead and operating costs together with a referral based growth strategy in the recruiting division have driven substantial cost reductions and accelerated revenue growth.
