Cenit's Blue Port Acquisition To Include Leading Edge Data Retrieval & Analysis Application

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - July 14, 2005) - Cenit Corporations' (TSX VENTURE:CNT)(OTC PINK SHEETS:CNTGF) recently announced ("the Company") acquisition of a 51% interest in Blue Port Technologies Inc. ("Blue Port") will include the Acentrix Data Analysis Suite ("Acentrix").

Acentrix is a leading edge, marketing data analysis Strategic decision support application. Designed to process extremely large amounts of data quickly, Acentrix provides a perfect solution for direct marketing organizations and those companies with large customer bases.

Acentrix retrieves information in seconds, as opposed to the hours, and in some cases days, that such data requests typically require. Rogers Communications Inc. ("Rogers"), a major cable and cellular telephone company based in Toronto, Canada operates Acentrix under a license agreement. Current marketing efforts are aimed at increasing the Acentrix client base.

The Product

Acentrix puts the power of complex data analysis in the hands of decision makers freeing up valuable IT staff and resources (such as overworked data warehouses) in the process.

The intuitive GUI interface conceals the complexities of SQL (the standard means of ad-hoc query creations by IT staff), presenting the user with meaningful descriptions of the data and a straightforward methodology for creating and executing queries.

The lengthy turn around times typical of relying on IT staff to perform data analysis can now be eliminated. For a full product description and demo visit: www.minds4vision.com

Case Study

The Acentrix product is licensed to Rogers and used by over 90 senior management personnel in the periodic analysis of over 2 million customers and 40 million customer product records.

The Problem

The Marketing department needed to be able to find out what mix of products and services was being used under specific circumstances.

Under their existing system data base queries required a substantial application of IT department time and resources to write a program (with SQL) to extract the information. These programs were extremely complex due to the large mix of search matches that were required. Writing, modifying and running these programs took a considerable amount of valuable IT staff time and resources.

The process was time consuming and results of the queries were ordinarily not quite what the Marketing department was looking for, resulting in program modification and re-submission. Typical turn-around time for these queries was anywhere from overnight to several days, depending upon complexity and system availability.

The Solution

Acentrix has reduced query turnaround time to near-instant and dramatically reduced IT resources.

Typically complex data base queries cover many fields and different values. Some of the factors include product and product groups, geographical area, date of commencement, type of payment, connected and disconnected customers, and churn.

Many of the Marketing people are now running their own queries - completely by-passing the IT department and bringing new meaning to user friendly applications. Files are customizable and can be extracted for marketing personnel to use in customer contact initiatives.

The Director of Decision Support, Marketing Systems at Rogers states "some of the far-reaching effects of Acentrix are its ability to quickly reconcile customer and product counts, complete fast queries on potential marketing campaigns and put solid data in front of the President and senior VPs in under 30 minutes of the verbal request being placed. Another first is we are now able to analyze our disconnected customer base as well as our churn customers."
