Center for Restorative Justice Works Hosts Luncheon and Prison Visit With Internationally Known Speaker: Sister Helen Prejean, DEAD MAN WALKING


BREA, CA--(Marketwire - March 14, 2011) - The Center for Restorative Justice Works (CRJW) presents a luncheon featuring Sister Helen Prejean, CSJ, author of Dead Man Walking, an advocate for restoring victims of crime and abolition of the death penalty. The luncheon will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2011 11:30 am - 1:30 pm at St. Angela Merici's Parish Hall, 585 S. Walnut Ave. Brea, CA 92821. This event is sold out. There will be 230 participants.

St. Helen Prejean will also go into the California Institution for Women (CIW) on the same day. She will present to 40 outside guests and 200 prisoners. CIW is located at 16756 Chino-Corona Road, Corona, CA, 92878 and this will take place on Thursday evening, March 17, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
