Centex Homes and The Church at Cane Bay Host CHRISTMAS AT CANE BAY

December 10th, 10am - 2pm, Cane Bay Plantation (www.christmasatcanebay.com)

CHARLESTON, SC--(Marketwire - Dec 6, 2011) - Fifteen Tons of real snow is coming to Cane Bay Plantation! On Saturday, December 10th, the snow will drape a huge snow slide built for sledding and tubing for all ages. Along with the snow will be giant inflatables, train rides, a petting zoo and pictures with the man himself, Santa Clause! The best part: It's all free!

Chick-fil-A will be on site selling lunch at affordable prices, and Starbucks is giving away free coffee to every registered family.

We'll also have local vendors for the adults to enjoy, along with several opportunities to get involved this Christmas season by doing some good through community non-profits.

The event is from 10am through 2pm. Come at any time and stay for as long as you like. The event will take place in the new "Old Rice Retreat" neighborhood immediately across the street from Cane Bay Elementary School. Parking will be available at both Cane Bay Elementary and Cane Bay High School.

A liability release form needs to be signed by the parent or guardian of any child under 18. Registration will be available on site, or to speed up the process, parents can pre-register their children on www.christmasatcanebay.com.

Cane Bay Plantation is Charleston's leading community in new home growth. "We're working very hard to serve and love our community," says Event Director Charlie Swain, who is also a pastor at The Church at Cane Bay. "Our goal is to partner with great community leaders in order for Cane Bay to be one of the best places to live in our city."

Go to www.christmasatcanebay.com for more information, registration and directions.

"The Church at Cane Bay, Centex and all of our sponsors are about serving the community, and we think providing a great, free event during the Christmas season for families is an excellent way to bring the community together," says Pastor Charlie.
