Central Alberta Well Services Corp. (TSX VENTURE:CWC.A) (the "Company") announces that the Special Committee of the independent members of the board of directors (the "Special Committee") has engaged financial and legal advisors regarding the previously announced unsolicited proposal received from Tricap Partners II L.P. (the "Proposal"). The Special Committee has engaged Raymond James Ltd. ("Raymond James") as exclusive financial advisor and valuator relating to the Proposal. The Special Committee has also engaged McCarthy Tetrault LLP ("McCarthy Tetrault") as legal counsel to advise the Special Committee with respect to the Proposal.
