Central States Health and Welfare Fund Selects Context 4 Healthcare's DecisionPoint™ Health Payment System to Assist With Reimbursement Benchmarking

NAPERVILLE, IL--(Marketwire - Aug 7, 2012) - Context 4 Healthcare, Inc. announced today that they have added Central States Health and Welfare Fund of Rosemont, IL as the newest client utilizing their DecisionPoint™ Health Payment System's Usual, Customary & Reasonable (UCR) benchmarking databases.

"We are pleased to earn the business of Central States Health and Welfare Fund," said Mark Earles, President and CEO of Context 4 Healthcare. "Our health payment benchmarking solutions will serve as an important tool to aid Central States Health and Welfare Fund's mission of providing superior benefit administration services for its participants. We look forward to serving them for years to come."

"To help assure that Fund participants receive an equitable reimbursement when out-of-network services are incurred, the Fund chose Context's DecisionPoint™ UCR database to support this effort. Price, functionality, data integrity and implementation costs were all factored into our decision. Unlike some of Context's competitors, Context's DecisionPoint™ UCR database comes complete with FeeViewer™ software. This feature was especially attractive to the Fund as it eliminates the extra cost of having to build and maintain an in-house database. In addition, the FeeViewer™ is so simple to navigate that staff will be able to utilize the FeeViewer™ almost immediately with minimal training," said Norm Littlefair, Supervisor of Central States Health and Welfare Fund's Research and Correspondence Department.

Context's DecisionPoint™ Health Payment System and UCR databases provide healthcare payers an important benchmarking tool to assist them in determining reimbursement and billing rates for medical procedures. The methodology behind each UCR fee solution is arrayed in percentiles and divided by hundreds of geo-zip regions with bi-annual updates to refresh existing data. Fees are available for all geographic regions of the United States. As a result of the rigorous statistical methods used to create this UCR database, payers can benefit from cost effective fee management solutions that are credible and defensible.
