Bernstein has had a decorated career in media, working with some of the nation's largest advertisers including Chevrolet, MillerCoors, State Farm, Taco Bell, Hilton Hotels, SC Johnson, Kraft, General Mills, Frito-Lay and McDonald's. He is recognized for leading DraftFCB's media department for 11 years, garnering an award in 2009 as one of Ad Age's Media Mavens. Bernstein was most recently SVP, Group Director at Carat in Detroit.
Bernstein delivers a deep and rich history driving brand value for major U.S. companies. He's played a key role in advertising success stories including Coors Light's rise to the #2 brew in the U.S. and the Doritos Locos Taco, Taco Bell's most successful new product in its 50-year history. Bernstein created a unique five agency, three holding company unit that won the $400 million MillerCoors media assignment. Bernstein also ran MC Media and DraftFCB's media department, overseeing continuous yearly growth in the discipline's size and revenue. Bernstein is an 11-year board member of the National Sports Marketing Network and has taught "Contemporary Media" at the University of Chicago. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois.
