Centrue Financial Corporation Announces New Stock Ticker Symbol

OTTAWA, IL--(Marketwired - Feb 19, 2014) - Centrue Financial Corporation (the "Company" or "Centrue") (OTCQB: CFCB) (PINKSHEETS: CFCB), parent company of Centrue Bank, was recently approached by another firm who expressed interest in purchasing the 'TRUE' ticker symbol. Ultimately, we reached an arrangement whereby the Company received compensation for relinquishing the old symbol, and obtained a new symbol (CFCB) that more closely reflects the description of our core business operations which includes our subsidiary, Centrue Bank. Effective February 19, 2014, Centrue Financial Corporation will trade under the new symbol CFCB.
