The Centurion®, 33 West 56th Street, New York, Hosts Fashion Show Debuting Laura Smalls Spring 2012 Collection

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Sep 20, 2011) - Fashion designer Laura Smalls debuted her Spring 2012 collection during New York Fashion Week at The Centurion® Condominium, located at 33 West 56th Street off Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. One of the two duplex penthouses in the luxury building designed by Design Architect/Pei Partnership Architects with I.M. Pei, served as the setting for nearly 100 distinguished guests including Chanel Iman, Kathleen Battle, Grace Hightower, André Leon Talley and Valerie Simpson of Ashford and Simpson, among others.

The Spring 2012 Collection is anchored by Laura Smalls' signature collection of dresses, including both the slim-shaped and flare silhouettes, incorporating draping details, patchwork, color blocks, and appliqué details while also playing with striped patterns.

The Centurion, a serene space in the center of Manhattan, is the only ground-up residential condominium designed by Design Architect/Pei Partnership Architects with I.M. Pei in the City. Residences have high ceilings and are light-flooded, while the tranquil lobby and its water garden add a unique feature to the full-range of 24-hour services found in a high-end residential building, including a private exercise facility, a 24-hour attended garage, a 24-hour doorman, resident superintendent and storage units for purchase.

The building is currently 65 percent sold and closed. Only 15 residences and three outstanding penthouses remain available for purchase at The Centurion. Prices start from $2.5 million.

New York Residence is the exclusive marketing and sales agent at the building, and the firm maintains an onsite sales office in the building and appointments to view the stunning property are available daily. For more information or to schedule a private appointment, call 212-888-5633 or visit
