Century Iron Mines Corporation (TSX:FER) ("Century" or "Century Iron" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has filed its consolidated financial statements for the second fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2012 and the related management's discussion and analysis on SEDAR. The Company reports a gain on deemed disposal of a subsidiary of approx. $53.5 million for the quarter and had as at September 30, 2012 cash and cash equivalents of approx. $41.4 million, exploration and evaluation assets of $42.8 million and an investment in the Attikamagen joint venture of $59.5 million.
