CERECONS™ Selected by Central Florida-Based Brevard Physicians Network to Provide ACO Enterprise Solution

ANAHEIM HILLS, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 18, 2012) - CERECONS, a leading provider of IT software for the healthcare industry, has been selected by Brevard Physicians Network (BPN) Independent Physicians Association (IPA) to provision and launch the CERECONS ACO Enterprise Solution for its two Central Florida healthcare groups.

CERECONS' innovative cloud-based ACO software will provide Brevard Physicians Group IPA and Medical Practitioners for Affordable Care (MPAC) ACO with powerful clinical decision support and population management tools that support their mission to provide quality, cost-efficient care to their patients. The CERECONS Enterprise ACO Solution will also automate key business processes and administrative tasks and enable online patient access to medical records and medication renewals.

MPAC was chosen by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) to participate in its Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) in 2012, prompting them to acquire the CERECONS solution because of its robust, feature-rich set of ACO tools that are capable of serving multiple facilities across their enterprise. CERECONS was also selected for its quick implementation and ramp-up time, top-tier reporting capabilities, clinical alerts functionality, automated referrals and authorizations, and Patient Portal, which grants patients online access to their healthcare information.

"We are excited to partner with Brevard Physicians Network and sister company Medical Practitioners for Affordable Care to provide the CERECONS ACO Enterprise Solution," said Philip Paul, president of Unlimited Innovations, the parent company of CERECONS. "The CERECONS platform will enable them to obtain actionable clinical insight that supports their mission to deliver quality care while decreasing overall costs."

Brenda A. Radke, chief executive officer of Brevard Physicians Network and executive director, Medical Practitioners for Affordable Care, LLC, said CERECONS provides a number of ACO and health IT tools and solutions that can be used enterprise-wide.

"The goal of Brevard Physicians Network has always been to provide the highest quality medical care to patients, yet assume the responsibility of keeping that care at a cost everyone can afford," Radke said. "CERECONS has integrated our existing patient data solutions with minimal disruption to patient care and services, while supporting the successful launch of our ACOs. As important as the solutions themselves are, the determining factor of our decision to partner with CERECONS was the depth of ACO expertise they have and their customer-validated commitment to helping us achieve success. They meet our high expectations and earned our confidence to team with them as we grow our business into other markets."
