Ceridian Acquires RelatedMatters to Further Expand Human Capital Management Offering

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - March 09, 2015) - Ceridian announces that on February 25 it closed a transaction, acquiring most of the assets of RelatedMatters, Inc. RelatedMatters launched a team relatability solution to develop thriving relationships amongst employees and help organizations build better cultures. The solution, named TeamRelate was named an Awesome New Startup for HR by Human Resource Executive® Magazine in 2014. TeamRelate provides valuable assessment information and practical coaching, helping colleagues communicate and collaborate effectively.

As part of this acquisition, the two co-founders of RelatedMatters, both experienced senior executives in the HCM industry, have joined the Ceridian senior executive team. Jon Harris joins as senior vice president, RelatedMatters. In this role, Jon is responsible for the delivery of the award-winning relatability solution to market. Ted Malley joins as senior vice president, Product Evangelism. Ted will lead the development of content strategies that drive internal and external messaging and mediums for all target audiences.
