Ceridian Shows First Life Events Messaging Engine in LifeWorks Employee Assistance & Wellness Offering at Company's Annual Customer Forum, INSIGHTS 2015

Events-based Messaging Delivers Employees Relevant Information & Resources as They Experience Important Life Events

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - July 15, 2015) - INSIGHTS -- Ceridian announces it is showing a first-to-market North American Life Events Messaging Engine available exclusively through its LifeWorks Employee Assistance Service at the company's annual customer forum, INSIGHTS 2015, July 14 - 17 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Touching the lives of 35 million employees and their families, LifeWorks is a comprehensive EAP, Work-Life and Wellness program. The Life Events Messaging Engine provides additional support to employees experiencing important life changes delivering targeted information and resources as these events occur.

The Life Events Messaging Engine delivers messages offering immediate support for a range of life events. The messages are triggered when an employee, manager or administrator updates the employee's record within the employer's HR system. Event-based messaging can be sent in response to local disasters or traumatic events, as well as to support annual benefits enrollment and employer health promotion campaigns.

LifeWorks provides online tools and resources to address personal and work-related issues. In correlation with the Life Events Messaging Engine, the portal also has a new "Life Changes" resource page that streamlines access to information and support for 11 key life transitions, including starting a job, becoming a manager, having a baby, moving and planning for retirement.
