Certain Software®, Inc. Forms Strategic Partnership With Nelnet Business Solutions

Innovative Technology of Certain Registration™ Interfaced With Automatic Education Finance System of Nelnet Business Solutions QuikPAY® to Offer a Powerful Integrated Solution for Higher Education Customers

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - July 10, 2007) - With the higher education market in mind, San Francisco-based online registration technology innovator Certain Software and Chicago-based campus commerce provider Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS) are joining forces. The two companies have partnered to offer institutions an interface that integrates the online registration functionality of Certain Registration with the convenience of NBS' automated billing, payment processing and campus commerce solution, QuikPAY.

In February 2007, Certain and NBS introduced Certain Registration to QuikPAY customers in a well-attended webinar. This webinar demonstrated how Certain's hosted, online subscription application offers the most flexible, customizable and secure way to create and manage world-class registration experiences. Higher education institutions like Stanford University, Harvard University and University of California at Berkeley use Certain Registration to create custom-branded online registration sites and forms and to manage program, travel, housing, finance, email communications and reporting.

QuikPAY is NBS' campus-wide commerce service offering electronic billing, payment processing, actively managed payment plans and secure commerce.

Higher education institutions using QuikPAY will be able to access the Certain Registration administrative side for functions like running reports, searching for individual transactions and processing refunds. Online payments via Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as well as offline payment methods of cash, check, purchase order and wire transfer will also be supported in US dollars, with plans to add other currencies in the future.

"We are pleased to develop this very important relationship with NBS. The unique features that come standard with Certain Registration are perfect for academic institutions," says Certain Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing Ken Voss. "Many universities have attempted to build their own online registration systems, and in particular, have difficulty achieving or maintaining online payment security. Certain Registration is a compliant with PCI Data Security Standard Level 1 service provider, the very highest level of security available today."

NBS' Executive Vice President of Technology & Operations, David King, adds, "Our customers asked us to provide an events management system. We researched the market and found Certain Registration to be the best fit for higher education." King goes on to say, "We are pleased to partner with Certain and continue to expand our offering of services to higher education. With both companies being PCI Data Security Standard Level 1, we offer the highest level of security to our customers."
