CFP MSA Completes the Definition of CFP4 Specifications for 100G Optical Transceivers

(TYO: 5802) today announced the availability of the CFP4 specifications defining the electrical and physical requirements for the 100Gbps CFP4 optical transceiver products and systems. The CFP4 specifications document is now available at the CFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) website: www.cfp-msa.org.

The CFP MSA member companies will be showcasing a new generation of 100GbE CFP4 optical transceiver solutions at the OFC 2014 exhibition in San Francisco, California, USA from March 11th to 13th. The CFP4 solutions are available for sampling now with general availability targeted for the second half of 2014.
