MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - May 31, 2011) - CGOC, a practitioners' forum convening legal, IT and RIM professionals to share current and best practices in discovery, information governance, privacy and data management, today announced a series of regional executive meetings on "Prevailing Practices - Peer Benchmarking & Common Breakdowns in Preservation and eDiscovery."

Picking up where January's CGOC Summit discussions left off, these half day executive meetings will move from the best practices of an IG program reflecting the needs of legal, RIM, and IT, to focus on legal's needs for efficient eDiscovery. The meetings will include formal presentations by corporate practitioners from Exelon and JPMorgan Chase as well as an eDiscovery legal expert from Seyfarth Shaw each sharing best practices on eDiscovery processes, preservation and collection from structured data and a process maturity model for eDiscovery. These meetings will also mark the launch of the latest CGOC benchmark survey on Prevailing Practices in Preservation and eDiscovery which is being conducted by the CGOC Working Group on Prevailing Practices. Co-hosted by Seyfarth Shaw, the meetings include a networking lunch.
