Chain Bridge Bank Announces Promotions and Hirings

Commercial Banking, Lending, and Administrative Teams Strengthened

MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwire - Mar 1, 2012) - Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. today announced a series of officer promotions and hirings reflective of the bank's commitment to build and maintain a strong and dynamic management team across all areas of the bank. The officer named Senior Vice President is Betsy Sharon, J.D., Compliance Officer and Counsel. The officers promoted to Vice President are Jenni Kiefhaber, Director of Client Services; Michael Richardson, Commercial Banking Officer; Lance Nobles, Lending Officer; and Robin Cowhill, Loan Administration Manager. The officer promoted to Assistant Vice President is Alan Reynolds, CPA, Financial Analyst and the officer promoted to Banking Officer is Mubeen Baig, Assistant Branch Manager.

Commercial Banking Promotions:

Jennifer Kiefhaber will serve as Vice President and Director of Client Services. In her position she is responsible for crafting banking services to help commercial clients thrive and grow. Ms. Kiefhaber has worked for the bank for four years in the Commercial Banking Department helping with business development, client retention and product development. She was integral in the creation of commercial banking services such as lockbox, positive pay, and on-line treasury management. Ms. Kiefhaber is a graduate of George Mason University and the Virginia Banker's Association School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia. A native Washingtonian, she currently resides in McLean with her husband, Tom.

Michael Richardson will serve as Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer. In his new role he is responsible for commercial banking business development activities. Mr. Richardson has a diverse background in the financial services industry. He served for three years as a Banking Center Manager at Fifth Third Bank handling commercial accounts and investment planning. In 2007, Mr. Richardson moved full-time into the wealth management arena and opened a new office as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones Investments. Originally from Vicksburg, MS, Mr. Richardson holds a BA in Political Science and Master's of Public Policy & Administration from Mississippi State University. He has been active with various non-profit and community organizations over the years. Mr. Richardson and his wife live in Arlington, VA and he is the father of two children.

Lending Division Promotions:

Lance Nobles will serve as Vice President and Lending Officer. With over 14 years of experience in the banking industry, Mr. Nobles' background covers commercial lending, credit analysis and mortgage banking. He currently specializes in both commercial real estate and government contractor financing. Prior to moving to Northern Virginia in early 2010, Mr. Nobles played an integral role in founding Business First Bank in Baton Rouge, LA, helping this de novo bank grow to over $600 million in assets in just three years. Mr. Nobles holds both a B.S. in Marketing and an MBA from the Louisiana State University. Additionally, he attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU where he graduated as one of the top students in his class. In his spare time Mr. Nobles enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter in Reston, VA and competing in Ironman Triathlons and Marathons

Robin Cowhill will serve as Vice President and Loan Administration Manager where she is responsible for all loan documentation and closing activities at the bank. Ms. Cowhill joined Chain Bridge Bank in 2009 after a 24 year career in commercial real estate and construction lending at Branch Banking and Trust (BB&T), formerly First Virginia Bank. At BB&T she supervised the Northern Virginia construction lending service group where she became one of the leading construction lending administrators in the region. Ms. Cowhill also has mortgage lending experience. Ms. Cowhill graduated with a B.A. in history from Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. She is a long time resident of McLean and currently resides with her family in Great Falls, Virginia.

Banking Office and Administration Promotions:

Betsy Sharon, J.D. will serve as Senior Vice President, Compliance Officer and Counsel. In her new position, Ms. Sharon is responsible for all consumer compliance related matters as well as implementation of new policies and procedures related to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Ms. Sharon is an attorney specializing in banking and healthcare regulatory compliance. She was the Privacy officer at APS Healthcare, a national managed care company. She served as Vice President and Senior Counsel at Allfirst Bank where she led legal support for consumer loan, residential mortgage, and direct bank activities. She spearheaded the creation of a Fair Lending Committee which included pricing analysis to ensure fair lending. Most recently Ms. Sharon served as Executive Director of the Silver Spring Interfaith Housing Coalition, a nonprofit that provided housing and support services to homeless families and individuals. Ms. Sharon earned a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and a B.A. in political science from Connecticut College. Ms. Sharon and her son reside in Silver Spring, MD.

Alan Reynolds will serve as Assistant Vice President and Financial Analyst. Mr. Reynolds is a Certified Public Accountant and is responsible for the bank's day to day accounting procedures, regulatory filings and financial statement preparation. He also assists with budgeting, balance sheet management and strategic planning. Mr. Reynolds previously served as a Financial Assistant at the Bank of Charles Town in West Virginia where he was responsible for many of the accounting functions of the bank. Mr. Reynolds holds a B.S. in accounting and finance from Shepherd University in West Virginia. He currently resides in Falls Church, VA with his wife Ashley.

Mubeen Baig will serve as Banking Officer and Assistant Branch Manager. Mr. Baig is responsible for the day to day operations of the bank's main office and teller functions. In his position Mr. Baig establishes new account relationships and manages client inquiries and requests. Mr. Baig most recently served in a supervisory capacity at Chevy Chase Bank (now Capital One Bank) where he managed a team of six Personal Bankers and Tellers. He also has extensive operational experience having serviced in the Fraud Preventions and Operations department at First Virginia Bank. Mr. Baig brings his twelve years of operations, management and mortgage experience to provide Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. cliental with a high level of customer service and banking needs. Mr. Baig resides in Belmont Bay, Woodbridge, VA with his wife and his three year old son.
