Champlain Oil Deploys Gilbarco Veeder-Root's EMV-Ready Suite of Products Across Northeast U.S.

SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT--(Marketwired - June 02, 2015) - Champlain Oil will deploy Gilbarco Veeder-Root's suite of products at their locations across the Northeast U.S. to address both indoor and forecourt EMV requirements proactively. With more than 100 sites in Vermont, New Hampshire and New York, Champlain Oil will use Gilbarco as its exclusive provider of EMV-ready dispensers, CRIND^® payment terminals, media applications and point of sale technology to help them get ahead of the 2015 and 2017 EMV liability shift deadlines.

In addition to deploying the Passport POS and Encore dispenser system across their network, Champlain Oil will roll out Applause^™ TV, a gas pump media and consumer engagement platform that utilizes dynamic audio and video content from Verifone Media to enhance retailer promotions and drive repeat traffic through a heightened consumer experience. Champlain will be the first major retailer in Vermont to roll out media on their forecourt.
