Change of Command Ceremony at Manitoba/Saskatchewan/North West Ontario District Parole

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - March 25, 2011) - Today, the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) held a Change of Command Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. at the Winnipeg Convention Centre for the Manitoba/Saskatchewan/North West Ontario District Parole. This occasion marked the change in command from the outgoing District Director Don Kynoch to the incoming District Director Dan Erickson.

This ceremony highlights the importance of being the leader of a parole district and the responsibilities associated with taking on the role of District Director. It provides CSC with a valuable opportunity to gather together and witness the passing of responsibility for the safety and security of staff, offenders and the community from one person to another.
