Changes at JobServe Canada

OTTAWA--(Marketwire - October 4, 2010) -  JobServe today announced changes at the top of its Canadian organization following the resignation of Chris Klotz as President effective 31/12/2010.

Josh Flower has been appointed President-elect and will be trained by Chris Klotz over the next 3 months to take over from 1/1/2011.

Commenting on this move, Chris Klotz, founder of JobShark and a pioneer of online recruiting in Canada, said, "Having worked to successfully integrate JobShark with JobServe Canada over the past 3 years and having returned the combined business to profitability, I felt it was time to move on to new challenges. As an entrepreneur my skills and interest are in start-ups. Now that JobServe Canada is established in the Canadian market it is time for me to put the company into new leadership to take it to the next level." You can follow Chris on Twitter at

Chris Klotz was instrumental in the establishment of a successful Job Board Joint Venture with publisher IT World Canada in September 2010, a move which signaled JobServe's intent to take a prime position in the online recruitment segment of the IT sector.

"JobServe Canada, its customers and 2 million candidates owe Chris a vote of thanks for the help he has provided them to find jobs and fill vacancies over the past 3 years. All his colleagues at JobServe and I wish Chris all the best in his next business adventure," said John Cowling, JobServe's Global CEO.
