Changes on the Aeroports de Montreal Board of Directors

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 16, 2015) - Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) announces changes to its corporate governance. Réal Raymond has expressed his intention not to seek a third term as a director and in mid-October will leave the Board of Directors, which he has also chaired since September 15, 2010. Normand Legault, a director of the Corporation for the past five years, has been elected to succeed Mr. Raymond as Chair of the Board, effective today.

The Board wishes to thank Mr. Raymond for all his years at the helm of the Board, where he demonstrated great effectiveness and discipline in guiding ADM's corporate governance. His background in the banking industry and his rigour in financial management contributed significantly to many of the Corporation's key decisions. Among other initiatives, Mr. Raymond steered ADM through the completion of its major infrastructure projects, including expansion of the Montréal-Trudeau airport terminal international jetty-now in its final phase-while always demonstrating an open approach that fostered the active participation and expert input from all the directors.

"I would like to acknowledge the extremely productive collaboration that has existed between senior management and the Board of Directors under Réal Raymond's leadership," said ADM President and Chief Executive Officer James Cherry. "I want to particularly thank Réal for his unwavering support in many important matters; once convinced of something's validity, he shows unflinching determination. Because of his solid governance, he is also leaving Aéroports de Montréal at a time when the Corporation is performing superbly in every respect and is producing enviable financial and operating results."

New Board Chair Normand Legault, a well-known figure in Montréal's business community, is a corporate director and consultant. He is President of GPF1 Inc., the company that organized the Formula One Grand Prix du Canada from 1996 to 2008. Over the course of his career, Mr. Legault has held a wide range of senior executive roles in the fields of marketing, event promotion and professional sports, including that of Vice-President, Marketing and Administration, of the Montréal Alouettes Football Club.
