Changing the Game: Cable & Wireless Launches Flow Sports Network Across the Caribbean -- the Region's First Caribbean-Based HD Sports Network

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - Nov 23, 2015) - Flow's sports fans are the winners with the news that Cable & Wireless (C&W) launched its new sports network, Flow Sports, on Monday 23rd November. With the arrival of the first Caribbean-based, region-wide High Definition sports network, Flow's TV customers can now access new, exciting and high quality sports programming, featuring the best local and international action. And in another big win for Flow's customers, the new channel is available in Flow's Basic TV package.

"With Flow Sports we are changing the game," said John Reid, President of Cable & Wireless's Consumer Group, which operates both the Flow and LIME brands. "Our goal is to be the number one destination for sports fans in the Caribbean. With our recently announced content partnerships -- including 2016/17 Premier League football, CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers, and the Rio Olympics -- Flow Sports will offer our customers the best possible viewing experience of the content that they are truly passionate about."

The 24/7 HD network has been purpose-built to deliver a world-class viewing experience to Flow customers. In addition to the best regional and international football, initial cricket programming will include home games of South Africa, the world's best Test side; New Zealand home series; the Ram Slam T20 tournament; and the T20 Bangladesh Premier League featuring West Indies superstars Chris Gayle, Sunil Narine and Darren Sammy. Flow Sports will also deliver exclusive NFL regular season games, athletics, auto racing, Fed and Davis Cup tennis, rugby and much more. In addition, Flow Sports will be C&W's key broadcast platform for the Rio Olympics, and, from August 2016, Premier League football. Fans of 'The Blues' and 'The Reds' in particular are also in for a treat, as Flow Sports covers all the action at Stamford Bridge and Anfield via programming from 'Chelsea TV' and 'Liverpool TV'.

Flow Sports is broadcast from a newly constructed, state-of-the-art media facility in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The new facility includes a new HD studio, an industry-leading 4-K ready broadcast system, and unique remote broadcast capabilities, all which will bring the action closer to Flow customers. In the coming months Flow will be expanding the Flow Sports experience across mobile platforms via the market-leading Flow ToGo application.

"With Flow Sports we are also thrilled to be bringing investment, jobs, skills and training to the Caribbean," added Reid. "The new network lets us showcase the very best of Flow and the new Cable & Wireless, and embodies our commitment to deliver world-class technology, content and, critically, a superior customer experience to the Caribbean. Simply put, we believe Flow Sports is a game changer for our customers and communities."

Sports fans can access the Flow Sports channel on the Flow network in Antigua, Barbados, The Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago. Further information is available at www.flowsports.co
