Channel Sampling Confirms High Grade Gold Mineralization on Namex's Golden Pine Property

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 14, 2005) - Namex Explorations Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NME) is pleased to provide an update on the company's 880 acre Golden Pine Property located about 40km (24 miles) north of Sudbury, Ontario. Namex has commissioned the geological and engineering consulting firm, Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited ("WGM"), to produce a NI 43-101 compliant report involving an audit of previous exploration and recommendations for future exploration on all of the Company's Sudbury area properties. Namex is pleased to provide results from grab samples taken during the course of the WGM due diligence as well as follow up grab and channel sample results undertaken by the Company. Thirteen grab samples were taken by WGM from the A, A-1, B and C Gold Zones. These samples ranged from a low of 0.119 g/t Au to 153.6 g/mt Au and 48.2 g/mt Ag (4.483 oz/st Au and 1.406 oz/st Ag) and averaged 21.82 g/mt Au (0.636 oz/st Au).

Follow up work by Namex consisted of grab and channel sampling of four gold zones on the Golden Pine Property. Gold results have been received from 39 samples while results are still pending for 7 samples that exceeded 10 g/mt Ag (greater than 0.292 oz/st Ag). Seven grab samples were taken over the A Gold Zone returning values ranging from 0.054 to 16.7 g/mt Au (0.487 oz/st Au) and averaging 7.0 g/mt Au (0.204 oz/st Au).

Thirty-two channel samples tested the A-1, B and B South Gold Zones. These channel samples ranged in value from 0.018 to 182 g/mt Au (5.308 oz/st Au) with a weighted average of 7.690 g/mt Au (0.224 oz/st Au). See Table 1 for the key channel sample intercepts. The A-1 Gold Zone is located about 183m (600ft.) southeast of the A Zone. The B Gold Zone is located about 244m (800ft.) southeast of the A Zone. The B South Zone is situated about 80m (260ft.) south of the B Zone. The gold mineralization is hosted by a felsic metavolcanic rock and is associated with abundant pyrite, trace chalcopyrite and carbonate veining. Namex technical crews are continuing to follow up these results on the property.

Both WGM and Namex samples were shipped to SGS Laboratories in Toronto, Ontario and tested by standard fire assay analysis. Oliver Maki, P. Geo. and Independent Consulting Geologist, E. Grayme Anthony, P. Geo. are the Qualified Persons for the project as defined under National Instrument 43-101.
