ChannelAdvisor Announces New Functionality for Merchant Software

Latest Functionality Allows Top SMB Merchants to Distribute Products to Several New Channels

The new release provides a comprehensive solution that allows merchants to distribute products to several new channels including Froogle (NASDAQ: GOOG), Yahoo! Key enhancements in this release include:

Shopping Channels -- This feature provides a comprehensive solution that solves the challenges of managing multiple comparison shopping engines and allows merchants to quickly and easily direct products from a ChannelAdvisor Store to several comparison shopping engines including Froogle, Yahoo! Shopping,, Smarter and NextTag.

Promotions Manager -- This new feature provides the means for a merchant to convert a potential buyer into a motivated buyer allowing the seller to offer a discount to buyers either on merchandise or shipping amounts. By utilizing the Promotion feature a merchant can increase sales by encouraging repeat purchases.

International Features -- Support for the Value Added Tax (VAT) in Europe and GST in Australia enables international merchants to collect inclusive or exclusive Value Added Tax on items sold, and to optionally collect VAT on shipping cost. Other international enhancements include translating invoices/packing slips, additional translations for valid payment types; customization of checkout fields based on country, offers metric weight measurements in both the metric and English systems and support of Switch/Maestro, Solo and Delta credit cards at checkout. These features will improve the buyer experience in the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Spain and France.

Shipping Enhancements -- Includes shipping integration with USPS via Endicia and improved FedEx Shipping Reports.
