Chanticleer Holdings to Open Eleventh Little Big Burger Location in Hillsboro, OR

CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - April 28, 2016) - Chanticleer Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOTR) ("Chanticleer" or the "Company"), owner and operator of multiple restaurant brands internationally and domestically, today announced that its better burger concept, Little Big Burger ("LBB"), expects to open a new location in the Platform District at Orenco Station in Hillsboro, Oregon by late summer this year.

The Platform District at Orenco Station is a pedestrian-friendly, high-density suburb which was built in conjunction with the MAX light rail line into Portland. The area, commonly referred to as the "Silicon Forest," is enjoying recent population and construction growth driven by the technology industry.

Adrian Oca, Director of Operations for the Pacific Northwest for Chanticleer Holdings, Inc., commented, "We are excited to open our eleventh location in a rapidly developing neighborhood. In addition to the Orenco Station restaurant, we also previously announced that we plan to open two additional locations in Portland's Lloyd District this spring and at Progress Ridge TownSquare in Beaverton this summer. We look forward to continuing our expansion and improving the brand's access to our loyal customers in the Portland area."

Rich Adams, President and COO of American Burger Co., commented, "The Little Big Burger concept has performed exceptionally well since we closed the acquisition in September of last year. In the fourth quarter, under Adrian Oca's leadership, LBB surpassed our expectations and contributed significantly to top line growth and achieved strong profitability margins. LBB has been thriving and I continue to feel very optimistic about the concept's future."
