Giancarlo brings extensive experience in product development and go-to-market strategy and has been a highly sought Board member who currently serves on the boards of Accenture, Arista, Blue Jeans Network, Imperva, and ServiceNow. He has also served on the boards of Skype and Netflix.

Mr. Giancarlo has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor, communications and networking industries. Most recently he was a Senior Advisor to Silver Lake Partners and was previously Managing Director and Head of Value Creation. During his 14 years at Cisco, he was a key player in the growth of the company and was ultimately responsible for the products comprising 80% of Cisco's revenues. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Brown University where he serves on the board of trustees, a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley where he serves on the board of advisors, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
