Charles Giancarlo Joins Tintri Board of Directors


MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - October 04, 2016) - Tintri Inc., today announced Charles Giancarlo has joined the company's board of directors. Giancarlo was formerly executive vice president and CTO for Cisco Systems and currently serves on the boards of Accenture, Arista, Avaya and ServiceNow. He previously served on the boards of Skype and Netflix.

Giancarlo has more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He was a senior advisor to Silver Lake Partners and managing director and head of Value Creation. During his 14 years at Cisco, he was central to the company's growth and responsible for products that delivered more than 80 percent of company revenue. Giancarlo holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Brown University, a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard.
