Charles Virden Joins Decisiv as VP of Sales

22 Years of Experience to Help Accelerate Already Impressive Growth

GLEN ALLEN, VA--(Marketwired - Sep 3, 2013) -  Decisiv, Inc., the leading provider of Service Relationship Management (SRM) platforms for fleet maintenance, today announced that Charles Virden has joined the company's senior management team as its VP of Sales. In this newly created position, Virden will be responsible for managing direct and indirect sales, working with sales engineering teams, developing sales talent and improving sales lead generation in support of Decisiv's aggressive go-to-market sales strategy in North America.

"Decisiv can have a major impact on the $35 billion cost attributed to inefficiencies in collaboration and communication processes at for-hire and private fleets as well as their internal and external service providers," Virden said. "The company's Service Relationship Management technology, and the quality, experience and dedication of the management team and staff, are perfectly positioned to significantly impact customer revenues and profitability by dramatically improving service levels and Return on Assets by reducing Days Out of Service."

Charles Virden began his career at Xerox Corporation in 1989 where he was quickly promoted to cover major accounts. In 1994, after a year at Smith Barney as a Financial Consultant, he joined Roadnet Technologies, a subsidiary of UPS that was purchased in 2011 by Thoma Bravo. In 18 years at Roadnet, Virden was a top sales rep, breaking sales records and closing the largest contract in the company's history. As Roadnet's VP of Sales from 1999 to 2012, he increased revenues from $9.4 to $44.7 million and took the company's international operations to 57 new countries and grew that business from a deficit to $5.6 million in revenue and $2.6 million in profit.

"Charles Virden is a proven hands-on manager whose 22 years of successful sales and sales leadership experience will have an immediate impact here at Decisiv," said Dick Hyatt, president and CEO. "His background in sales, account management and sales engineering, channel and partner management, mergers and acquisitions, and contract negotiations are essential to meet the business challenges of our rapidly growing customer base. His experience will drive adoption of service relationship management technology and help our customers improve revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction."
