Charter Medical Introduces Breakthrough Solution for Bio Tech, Pharmaceutical and Cellular Therapy Industries

(NYSE: LDL) Charter Medical Ltd., a subsidiary of Lydall, Inc., has announced a breakthrough Bio-Container that utilizes an innovative new film technology. FREEZE-PAK™ Bio-Containers are designed for use in cryogenic temperature applications providing robust performance as low as -196°C and remain flexible in a frozen state.

FREEZE-PAK™ offers advantages over traditional Bio-Containers as it goes down to the lowest temperature range while also providing easy storage of materials in a pre-sterilized format. They are available in a range of configurations to fit a variety of freezing systems. FREEZE-PAK™ Bio-Containers are designed for maximum product recovery, constructed of animal derivative-free materials and conform to current industry standards.
