Chase Paymentech and ExaDigm Start Class A Certification for Terminals and Payment Solutions

Process Provides Merchants the Ability to Add New Payment Technologies Quickly and Easily

SANTA ANA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 17, 2007 -- Chase Paymentech, the leading provider of payment transactions, and ExaDigm, Inc., a leading supplier of point-of-sale (POS) terminal solutions, today announced an agreement to begin the Class A certification process for ExaDigm's payment solution.

The Class A certification will signify that ExaDigm's payment solution has met all established testing requirements from Chase Paymentech. Following the certification, acquirers and the merchants they service will be able to receive direct support from Chase Paymentech when running ExaDigm's payment application on certified terminals.

Focused on a "one technology" approach, ExaDigm's PC-based, fully modular payment solution provides industry-first technology innovations, such as integrated RFID readers, resulting in less downtime and lower cost due to upgrades; interchangeable communication modules which eliminate the need to support multiple same-functionality terminals from a single manufacturer; and the ability to adapt to changing technologies easily and rapidly, with a view to ensuring that obsolescence and the subsequent swap out programs are a thing of the past.
