Chaudiere Crossing-Lane Reduction

GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - July 30, 2015) - Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of a periodic lane reduction on the Chaudiere Crossing during the following periods:

• Friday, July 31, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Monday, August 3, to Wednesday, August 5, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This reduction will affect the Gatineau-bound lane. Traffic will be permitted in both directions. One northbound and one southbound lane will remain open at all times.

The east sidewalk will be closed. Pedestrians and cyclists will be rerouted to the opposite sidewalk when required.

This lane reduction is necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.

The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
