Chemrec Retains The Stella Group Ltd. to Optimize and Leverage Federal, State, and Local Government Incentives to Chemrec's Paper Industry Projects

DEERFIELD, IL--(Marketwire - June 2, 2009) - Chemrec, the "Fuel from the Forest" innovator, has entered into an agreement with Scott Sklar and The Stella Group to support the company's efforts to raise awareness of Chemrec's integrated biorefineries at pulp and paper mills using its patented technology to convert a mill byproduct called black liquor into renewable biofuels, biomaterials or power.

The company has plans to design, build and operate integrated biorefineries across the USA. To facilitate project financing, Chemrec working with the Stella Group intends to compete for federal, state and local government programs and incentives such as project grants and loan guarantees offered by the departments of Energy and Agriculture.
