CHEN PR Names New Partners, Expands Client Roster

Kevin Kosh and Randy Wambold Join Executive Team; Agency Adds Accounts in Life Sciences, Clean Tech, Security and e-Commerce

WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2008) - CHEN PR today announced that agency Vice Presidents Kevin Kosh and Randy Wambold have been named partners. Kosh joined CHEN PR shortly after its inception in 1996, while Wambold has been with the agency since 2001.

As a founding employee, Kosh has supported programs for technologies ranging from software and services, to storage and system interconnects. Over the last eight years, he helped to establish and grow CHEN PR's highly successful security practice -- which has helped to support and expand market leadership for players in sectors from security consulting/managed services to software and hardware at the core of enterprise and service provider infrastructures. Wambold brings his invaluable corporate-side marketing experience that spans product marketing, marketing communications and sales support in addition to his communications experience. He has also had a crucial role in expanding the agency's thriving energy and life science practices.

Commenting on the promotions, Chris Carleton, a founding partner at CHEN PR, said, "In recent years, Kevin and Randy have been driving strategy for clients, winning accounts and contributing to the agency at every level. Their appointments as partners represent well-deserved recognition of the roles they serve in providing top-notch service, mentoring our staff and building the business."

CHEN PR also announced the addition of accounts in life sciences, clean tech, security and e-commerce. Joining agency clients that include Authoria, Boston-Power and Phase Forward, are the Institute for Pediatric Innovation, Novomer, Palo Alto Networks and Vindicia.

The Institute for Pediatric Innovation, Cambridge, Mass., is a non-profit focused on catalyzing the commercialization of products optimized for pediatric care. CHEN PR's launch of the organization resulted in a front-page profile story in The Boston Globe and an interview with CEO Don Lombardi on public radio's "Here and Now," hosted by Robin Young.

Novomer, Ithaca, N.Y., is a materials company pioneering a family of high-performance, biodegradable plastics, polymers and other chemicals from renewable substances. Profiled in Scientific American, The New York Times and on the Science Channel program "Invention Nation," CHEN PR's initial effort involved managing the company launch.

Palo Alto Networks, San Jose, Calif., has developed a next-generation firewall that enables visibility into, and policy control over, applications running on enterprise networks. Since retaining CHEN PR, Palo Alto Networks has earned coverage in outlets that include The International Herald Tribune, Forbes, The New York Times, Network World, InformationWeek, Dark Reading, CRN and eWEEK.

Vindicia, San Mateo, Calif., provides commercial back office payment management solutions for online merchants comprising integrated billing and fraud management functionality.
