Cherry Tree Systems' FeelBetter App for the iPhone to Be Featured on "The Balancing Act" Airing on Lifetime Television

Interview to Include FeelBetter App Creator

ANN ARBOR, MI--(Marketwire - February 15, 2011) - Dwayne Driskill, creator of the FeelBetter app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, will appear on popular morning TV show "The Balancing Act" airing on Lifetime Television. Lifetime Television reaches nearly 98 million households and is the highest rated women's network. "The Balancing Act" is America's premier one-hour women's morning show and recipient of eleven 2010 Telly Awards.

"Using the FeelBetter app is very simple: when you are feeling stressed, take a few moments to listen to your feelings. Write down what is bothering you and what you can do about it," said Driskill. "We often rely on friends and family for advice. Of course, this can be very helpful. But, many women have a tendency to value other people's opinions over their own. It can be empowering to experience that the best advice available can be the advice that you give yourself. After all, you know better than anyone else what motivates you and what you're capable of."

The FeelBetter app uses a simplified form of expressive writing. Expressive writing has been shown to produce both physical and psychological health benefits in research studies. The app uses a process that is similar to working with a counselor or therapist. Users start a new session every time they open the app. During each session, the user answers questions to help them think through their problems. The app can be customized by adding new questions. A password can be enabled to protect the user's privacy.

"It's no secret that finding solutions to your problems makes you feel better. The twist with the FeelBetter app is that you don't have to find extra time to do this: you can use the app whenever you get stuck waiting somewhere and start making progress on the problems that you really care about."

The FeelBetter app is currently available in the Apple App Store at a special introductory price of 99 cents in the U.S. and is priced accordingly in other countries. The FeelBetter app is available world-wide from Apple's App Store. Please visit for more information about the FeelBetter app.
