WHAT: On Thursday, May 28, Chester Community Charter School (CCCS), the largest K-8 charter school in Pennsylvania, will honor 200 parents and guardians who received the highest grades in the school's "Parents' Report Card" program, during the 11th Annual Parents Award Dinner, at the Clarion Hotel, in Essington, PA.

Grades from the Parents' Report Card, a program that began in 2004, are based upon the parents' involvement in the school's Parent Teacher Association (PTA), as well as their children's completion of homework, attendance record, observance of the school's dress code and the students' ongoing positive behavior.

The top 200 parents, with the highest grades, will receive a catered dinner and the opportunity to win televisions, various electronic devices, gift cards, and gift baskets. There will also be a grand prize drawing for participating attendees.

Dr. David Clark, CEO, CCCS, said, "Parents and guardians are essential to our community at CCCS. They attend our students' arts and athletic programs, volunteer at our school's Thanksgiving Giveaway, partner with neighborhood organizations for the Teen Summit event, and are vital to other programs that assist in student development. We honor them, each year, with a banquet, dinner, and prizes to simply say, 'Thank you.'"
