WHAT: On Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Clarion Hotel in Essington, PA, Chester Community Charter School (CCCS), the largest K-8 charter school in Pennsylvania, will host its 10th Annual Parents Award Dinner, which will honor 200 parents who have received the highest grades from the school's teachers throughout the academic school year, in its Parents' Report Card program.

In the program, parents are graded based on their involvement in the school's Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), and their children's completion of homework, attendance record, observance of the dress code and positive behavior.

The top 200 parents will receive a catered dinner and an opportunity to win prizes such as televisions, various electronic devices, and the grand prize, a trip to Disney World.

The Parents' Report Card program began 10 years ago as an initiative to show gratitude to Chester Community Charter School parents who are heavily involved in the betterment of their child's education through the support of the CCCS mission and the quality of their working relationships with the school's teachers, staff, and administration.
